The scale stick is at the front of the edger so you can see what width you are cutting.

We build sawmills ready to work. We are not believers in many options. We don't believe in menu shopping designed to lead you into machines that are more expensive. We won't offer you a diesel powered, high-production sawmill and make you buy a trailer package to make it portable. We won't offer you a remote control sawmill and then make you walk down the side of the mill to adjust the height of the front dog. We offer you quick level jacks at each jack station so you don't have to "drop a leg" and take the jack with you to the next jack station. The only options that we offer on our diesel sawmills are the computer setworks and the industrial strength de-barker. We can custom build to any length and we can build out to a 60" throat. What we do offer is a clean side cut sawmill. The clean cut sawmill helps on your blade life between saw sharpening. We offer you 30" solid steel band wheels...the biggest in the industry and we put them on all of our sawmills!

Our mills weigh up to 8000 lbs. for LM 5 diesel model. Since we use such heavy steel in our mill, we are not worried about the frame of the mill being bent by a log. You can drop a 5,000-lb. log on our deck and the only thing that can happen is the log will bounce. Since we build the heaviest, most fully equipped portable sawmill on the market today, WE CHEERFULLY TELL ALL OUR CUSTOMERS THAT IF THEY CAN FIND A MILL THAT OFFERS MORE FEATURES, MORE POWER AND MORE WEIGHT THAN THE LOG-MASTER  LINE, THEN THEY SHOULD BUY THAT MILL BECAUSE IT IS A GREAT MILL.

We USE 30" bandwheels on all of our trailer mounted sawmills, not just the high production models. Our bandwheels are made out of steel and are balanced to withstand the load and rpm that are used on our machines to make them productive. By using big band wheels you will not have the problem of blades breaking like you have on most other sawmills. All our mills are in high demand around the world and there is always a waiting list...but please be patient, they are worth the short wait to get one.

LOG-MASTER offers financing/lease purchase on all of our mills up to five years. Also included in the price of the sawmill is free, expert training when we deliver the mill or when you pick it up.
